I recently graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design, as an Animation major and Sequential Art minor, and many of my sequential works in the Sugar Ninjas are from when I was still a sophomore in school. My style is simplistic enough that I can animate my characters, but still detailed enough for the comics that I want to do. I love to draw and have always felt torn between animation and comics. In the end, I chose to major in Animation because I wanted to see my characters move and come to life.
However, it was a double edged sword, because it took such a long chunk of my time, it left me little time to spend on my comics. But during all those long hours at the Animation building, working without sleep over an animation table, I always felt more at home in the Sequential Art building. It was so easy to form close relationships with my peers and I felt like I was always part of a team.
