As early as she can remember, Hilary has loved drawing stories. However, it wasn’t until she was introduced to the amazing and wondrous world of Pokémon in the third grade that she created her first official series of comics. Scrawled on cheap notebook paper with an average graphite pencil, Hilary took great pride in chronicling her fantastical adventures in the Pokémon universe. Since then, Hilary has delved deeper into the world of Sequential Art and has discovered so many wonderful and weird stories that inspire her to this day. Some of the biggest influences on Hilary’s artwork and storytelling have been BONE by Jeff Smith, AMERICAN BORN CHINESE by Gene Luen Yang, MAUS by Art Spiegelman, BLANKETS by Craig Thompson, and every single one of Hergé’s TINTIN books.

Hilary’s dream is to one day publish an epic graphic novel that will astound the world (trust me, it’s gonna be awesome). And yes, she still plays Pokémon in her spare time.
