Join the Sugar Ninjas!

We are no longer accepting submissions for Sweet and Spicy Volume 3. Thank you to everyone that has sent in their artwork and stories.

For those who missed out, we'll open submissions again next year, so keep an eye on the website!

The Sugar Ninjas All-Girls Sequential Art Anthology is published once a year. Each volume consists of two separate (and equal) halves. The Sweet Book is family-friendly, with an emphasis on equal doses of cute and adorable. Creators with a fondness for kittens, fairy princesses, pretty dresses, and bunnies will likely have an affinity for the Sweet Book. On the other hand, for creators who prefer writing and drawing material aimed at more "mature" readers, the Spicy Book might be better for you. Does your submission include naughty language, partial nudity, excessive violence, and/or controversial subject matter? Then you should definitely plan on sending it to the Spicy Book.

Sugar Ninjas volumes are available via print-on-demand publisher, lulu.com. This is done specifically to allow for inexpensive printing costs, which in turn allows each contributor to buy their own copies for the same price as anyone else. No profits are made from ANY online sales of Sugar Ninjas books, but we encourage each of the girls to personalize copies that they purchase, enabling them to charge a little extra. Still, it can't be stressed enough that making money isn't the purpose here. Sugar Ninjas, both the books and the website, is an opportunity for female artists/storytellers to pool their resources and contribute to the cause of celebrating and showcasing their efforts

For general info, write to Sugar Ninjas Hostess/Publisher, Ana (Bob Pendarvis). For technical and formatting questions, Gally will be happy to help you out!
