The dimensions of this book are 8.5x11


PLEASE SUBMIT 450-600 dpi PAGES. We will NOT accept anything less.


If you don't know how to scan 450-600 dpi, please let Gally know and she will help you. We are asking for such high resolution so we can make your artwork look its best! Here are several templates you can use for your artwork. When using the template, please be sure to delete the instruction layer before saving your pieces. It's okay to submit your artwork in color, we prefer it.


If you're using screentone, absolutely make the pages 600dpi.


You have multiple options for submitting your artwork:


1. Save files in the template program (i.e., Illustrator template, save as AI).

2. Save files as jpg or pdf We accept the following formats: jpg, tiff, pdf, ai, psd, doc, docx, idml, idnt, eps


Please do not submit files in any format not listed above. We will have to ask you to resubmit. This means NO MS PAINT FILES.


Don't have Adobe or Microsoft Word? There's still a fantastic FREE alternative for you with GIMP!


Text story girls! We will probably need to edit your story for formatting reasons. Please send along a Word document (saved as either .doc, .docx, .rtf) of your story along with your formatted pages.


Comic strip girls! Position your strips so they read vertically on the page. If you have a continuing story, please set up your pages so they look like this:



Hey gals, don't have access to a copy of Adobe Photoshop? No problem! Just download GIMP (it's totally FREE!), then grab the Photoshop template.
